BC Hydro Offers Electricity Purchase Agreements to Cloudworks Projects

Cloudworks Energy Inc. is pleased that BC Hydro has offered Electricity Purchase Agreements for its Tretheway Creek, Big Silver-Shovel Creek, and Northwest Stave River low-impact hydroelectric proposals submitted under the 2008 Clean Power Call. The company will continue to work closely with its local First Nations partners and stakeholder groups to ensure the three projects are not only economic, but that they are developed, constructed and operated in an environmentally and socially sound manner. The electricity purchase agreement offer is an important step in the overall process of project development and is an endorsement of the collaborative work completed on these projects to date.
